Continuous Performance Management

Improving Employee Engagement and Organizational Performance

Performance Management is an approach to delivering successful results in organizations by improving the performance, developing the capabilities and fostering higher engagement of employees.

Continuous Performance Management is an ongoing cyclical process of communication between a supervisor and an employee that occurs throughout the year, with the intention of supporting employees to become successful and fulfilled, thereby, accomplishing the strategic objectives of the organization.

The communication process is a collaborative one which encompasses activities such as clarifying expectations, setting objectives and standards, developing performance plan, continuous progress review, providing feedback and feedforward, coaching and implementation of employee development programmes. It provides an advantage of understanding which employees are off track, diagnosing the problems at an early stage and taking corrective actions.

Every supervisor’s interaction with an employee becomes an opportunity for the employee to learn and grow. It creates an organizational climate in which people are enabled to perform to the best of their abilities by bringing out the very best out of them.
